The Taylor Residence
Potomac, MD

The Taylor Residence is a two-story, midcentury house originally designed by Eason Cross in his 1970’s Timberwood of Potomac neighborhood design. Our goal during the renovation was to be respectful of the existing character of the house while modernizing it. The scope of work included new entry bridge, full kitchen renovation opened to the living spaces, stair replacement, window replacement, lighting upgrades and all new interior finishes. Thought and attention was given to selecting new finishes that felt like they could have been from the original period. The dominant interior feature is the fireplace wall, originally finished with builder-grade paneling that we re-clad in walnut with a new tile fireplace surround.
